What ruby wine is rather affordable and will gain from aging in a little years?

i’m turning 21 this November, and at same time as this means I don’t have a long story with or wisdom of wine consumption and storage, i’ve greatly possessed the little glasses I’ve had with family friends and relatives over the past little years. Because i’m not a large partier, I’d like to commemorate my turning 21 by buying a bottle of wine (preferably ruby) on that day, next save it for a little years to at last open on one more birthday. I’ve no certain plan, I simply like the thought of purchasing a bottle of wine on my 21st and drinking it on a little future birthday, as shortly as the after that year or as late as 50.
Being simply 20 I obvious don’t have the grandest fund for this, however I was hoping somebody would have a little bottles or vintages I would look into–or simply a specific type of wine that’s always prone to improve with moderate aging.
Thanks as result much!

First we need to find a type of red wine you enjoy drinking.

There are so many out there varietials. What kinds of foods they enjoy? For Steak, you may want one or Merlot CabernetGia Lamb, you may want a cebernet ZinfandelGia or barbecue, you want a ZinfandelGia grilled chicken an/dor pork may PinotDen no right or wrong choice, the wine is about protimisi.Yparchoun some great wines in the marketplace that are under $ 40 and had great reviews and it is good to drink now or celler for a while. 2003 Whitehall Lane Cabernet has several good reviews.

But there are also sooo many others. Hartford Court also has some excellent Zinfandels and Pinot tou.Oinogefsia a big thing now. . .

You may want to check out a site called localwineevents.com to see if there is a tasting event in your area to collect the information you need to make an informed choice.

Wine is all about personal preference.

There are so many options out there and there is a package that is quite cheap.

You can get a good bottle of wine for under $ 20. I would recommend an austrailian wine called yellow.

It is a semi-dry wine, but great and last for some time. Cabernet is also nice.

If you like sweet wines I tried again this blueberry wine style that you can find only a few points, but I think they sell online and it was wonderful. I would definitely go for a yellow or cabernot.

It’s a good plan to save up some good bottles to celebrate the mellon.Ostoso should be borne in mind that different wines age differently. White wines apparently short lived, if you get a super-premiium French white Burgundy or white Bordeaux, which is very expensive. Red wines tend to last much longer, but how will last depends on the quality of the wines you buy.

As a result, if you plan to store wine for a long time, at least spend some chrimata. To best example of giving people always involves one of my best friends.

They bought a nice bottle of Dom Perignon when their daughter was like 5 years.

They can be saved, unfortunately, very inapporpriately, standing in the closet, where it is hot. By college graduation of his daughter, who took the bottle out to celebrate. She was told that this would be the nicest bottle of champagne that we never tried. When he was drank the champagne was all but destroyed – nasty vinegar that went down the drain.

The daughter had a horrible taste of champagne never had another sip pali.Etsi if you plan to store wine, spend some chrimata.Gia white wines, I would recommend to save for a few years (<5) and be ready open. Try something like Caymus Conundrum ($ 25), Frank Chardonnay ($ 30), or Gunderloch Reisling ($ 35-45).

If you want to go expensive, you can try some sweet dessert wine such as Chateau Riusec ($ 50) or section Muscadette ($ 25/half). For red wines, I would definitely go with Cabernet or French Bordeaux if you’re serious about custody for more than 10 years. Take a risk, but one well worth the risk because it is fun to open a bottle of old wine really good for it. For Cabernet, try California Cab as the Robert Mondavi Napa Cab ($ 25), Heitz Napa Cab ($ 35), Joseph Phelps Cabernet ($ 45), Jordan Cabernet ($ 45), Caymus Cabernet ($ 50).

If you want something more expensive, which may be worth it to Alexander Silver Oak Valley ($ 60), Pride Cabernet ($ 60) and Merlot ($ 60). For French Bordeaux, either the third or fourth increase would be reasonable.

A good bottle of Chateau Clerc Milon and d’Armallaic will return only about $ 30-40 for vintage.Episis Okay, I would recommend getting more than 1 bottle if you can afford – maybe 2 or 3. That way, you can open and save another one or two to see if it deserves to be. Keep your wine in a cool dark place on the road side.

If you can afford to get a wine fridge – which can cost from $ 100-300 for a good 8-30 bottle capacity, will be worth the kopo.Oinos collection is fun and exciting.

The rewards are great.

We opened a bottle of Chateau Montelena ’92 and ’90 Chateau Mouton year to date, which is probably the best we had this year. I can not wait for vertical Opus One taste me a few months. Good luck and have fun.

Carruades Chateau de Lafite $ 40 – $ 50/btlAgorasa a bottle of 1964 (which was the year I was born) and drank on my 35th birthday in 1998.

It was still good. This wine holds up quite well over time. I doubt it will hang on this long, but it is a good French red ktinotrofos.Alles held up well over time: Chateau Gloria $ 50 – $ 60/btlChateau Kirwan $ 75 – $ 90/btlYparchoun so many good French red wines that will hold up, the problem is that it akriva.Mporeite to buy good wines that California will last for many years, but they keep almost as if the French wines do not buy something expensive like Dominus and Opus One.
